Welcome to the community events section of our site. In 1994 we launched the Inner City World Cup, a replica world cup tournament featuring ex pat and second generation teams based in London and representing their countries of origin.
The event has been staged annually in London and has also been stage in New york and in Liverpool. In 2003 the Inner City World Cup became part of the Lovefootball Festival and we added women’s, youth, disabled, media and veterans football to the event, creating a celebration of football transcending race, religion, nationality, age, ability and gender. Other events in our community portfolio have included the Community Cup, staged at Arsenal Football Club and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Here you will find a resource of all of the results from every Inner City World Cup tournament and a roll of honour for the main and plate competitions. We are always interested in hearing from new countries wishing to take part in the Inner City World Cup tournament as well and other teams interested in getting involved.
